Our story
Founded by Dr Alexis Ong in November 2019, Exceptional Dental Care was created to change the way people feel about visiting the dentist. After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2005 and practising across both private and public clinics in Australia, Dr Ong saw how dental fear often kept people from getting the care they needed.
With a passion for gentle, compassionate dentistry, she designed our Spearwood practice to feel more like a relaxing retreat than a clinic – complete with calming décor, in-chair entertainment, and flexible appointment times.
Today, Dr Ong and her friendly team combine experience, empathy, and high-quality care to ensure every patient feels welcome, comfortable, and confident about their smile.
